Text Box: Over the Fourth of July, we lost the local option tax fight in St. Joe County, but we’ll be fighting back! (Watch this website) But right now we’re in the grips of tax and control battles on a national scale. The Tea Party Express rally in Mishawaka on Labor Day was phenomenal! With almost no advance press coverage, over 1000 people managed to find their way to Battell Park carrying signs and cheering on the speakers to TAKE BACK AMERICA! What’s next? The March on Washington on 9/12, of course! But what if you can’t make the trip to DC? That’s where our march comes in! Missing the 9/12 March on Washington? You can be a part of it right here in Michiana! Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 1) Watch Glenn Beck’s coverage of the 9/12 DC March from 1-3pm at Main Street Pub (2046 S Bend Ave, - between Edison & Ironwood) 2) Come March on South Bend 4-5 pm! Wear patriotic shirts, bring flags, bring signs! We’re going to carry on the march here at home – where these issues apply at the local level, too! Speaker: State Rep. Jackie Walorski Meet at Leighton Plaza (130 S. Main), march past Sen. Evan Bayh’s office, then past Rep. Joe Donnelly’s office, and past the County-City Building (with Obama HQ across the street). Parking available along streets or in parking garage on S. Main. At 5pm, the St. Joe County Republican Women are holding their Annual Chili Supper at Republican HQ, 4133 S. Main, South Bend.
